Elena Castillo is a senior project leader, based in Spain. She joined Tauw Iberia in 1999 and has been involved with the CAT Alliance since its inception. Over the last 14 years she has acted as project leader in environmental projects, including EHS compliance audits, environmental procedures and permits, EHS due diligence and environmental management system audits for industries, logistics sites, commercial centers, etc. She is experienced in auditing in both Spain and Portugal.
Mrs. Castillo has a Ph.D. in Chemistry and a Master’s in Engineering and Environmental Management. She has also completed several courses on Quality Management Systems, Environmental Management Systems, Health & Safety and Environmental Social and Governance (ESG), among other topics.
